Staff Council Survey results guide FY14 agenda
Recent staff survey results indicate that:
- the majority of staff respondents are somewhat familiar with Staff Council.
- the preferred method of communication is email followed by newsletters.
- out of the three top SC responsibilites (professional development, communications and staff recognition), professional development ranks most important.
- direct communication with your representative, SC website, and monthly meetings top the list of staff familiarity.
- in addition to sessions for Lynda.com, Office 365 and Outlook, suggestions for training were varied and numerous with Banner/Paws, CPR, Photoshop, Excel, advanced Word, First Aid and Time Management rising to the top.
- the number one concern is the staff compensation study and where we are now.
Updating staff on progress made on the staff compensation study is the number one concern stated by survey respondents. In response to the survey results, Staff Council is making "Updating staff on the progress made in the Compensation Study" an action item this year.
